21st Century - Expander Die Body

No window. Standard and EL comes with a lock ring.

Used with 21st century expander mandrels

These die bodies are 7/8"-14 threaded for any standard press. Machined internally to accept 3/8" dia. shank expander mandrels. The design of the die body helps to keep your cases concentric during the expanding operation. The mandrel allowed to free float inside the case to compensate for press, ram, and shell holder misalignment. CNC Machined in-house on our turning centers.  Knurled head for easy in and out adjustment. Aluminum cap retains expanding mandrel and allows for floating function. Aluminum die lock ring has a nylon ball and set-screw to hold in place and protect the threads of the die body. It only takes a pinch of an Allen Wrench to secure your die.   

Standard-length expander die body is used for 223 Remington (1.760") up to 30-06 (2.494") Length Cases,

Extra-long model is for 30-06 length cases and longer.  

Short die body is needed for cases shorter than a .223 Remington (1.760"). (the 904-S Short Die Body is stainless and does not have a window).

Large Caliber (.35 caliber and up) Require our large caliber die bodies.  These are designed the same as our regular-bodies, but use a 9/16" dia. shank.  These are made of stainless without a window.  Available in long and short models based upon case length.
